Rorona somehow manages to invent a machine that can create homunculus, calling it the "Hom Motel". Although it's not talked about here, Rorona mentions in another event that Astrid took away the Homs (her homunculus assistants from the first game) from her, saying Rorona needed to be more independent, a thing that'll happen never. Anyways, she adds some ingredients (which are currently a mystery) and after a little trial and error, manages to produce a homunculus!
A... tiny one.
At first she calls it 'Hom', but ends up settling on calling it 'Chim', short for 'child hom'. Totori finds it adorable, and completely ignores Rorona in favor of talking to the Chim, and trying to get it to say her name. The machine malfunctions, and suddenly Totori and Rorona are swept up in a wave of Chims!
A little while later, with only one Chim remaining again, Rorona explains that Chim can work for Totori, in exchange for pie, which Totori can get from Rorona! Totori doesn't seem to hear that last part, and comments that she'll get Ceci, her older sister to make pies for her, then, as Ceci is good at making pies. Rorona is shocked to hear this new piece of information, and ends up getting blown off by Totori, who goes off to play with her new homunculus friend.
